Group blog: Alone Again again!

So, for this final project, I decided to be alone, And it’s quite the story. However, I was not mean before hearing how I decided to work independently again; I just found it important to solve unlikable situations before they happened. The first project was indepenedant for commericals I already decided with one of my friends that we should definitely work together on the upcoming musical project that we learned about. We were set. In the last project, I was excited; I was brainstorming all the time, and I knew which song I was doing. Of course, my friend agreed with me. Then, once we were given the proper directions in class, someone asked to partner up, and we said of course. I am buddies with this person. We’ve known each other, and we do talk, so I have to help out, and the more, the merrier. However, we hadn’t been talking for 20 minutes to think about a song, but all my song options were shut down immediately. Personally, I would’ve liked for my choice to be put on the piece of paper. However, it did not make it on. After I left, I was very upset, and it was quite visible, but I calmed down during my study hall. But the entire interaction had me thinking, can I work for almost 2 months with this person? We are really good friends. However, I think we have two clashing personalities, and in a group project, I don’t think it would be good, so I dropped out to work on my own. And I felt bad too because the other person left for personal reasons of procrastination. I know blogs will be started three hours before the due date. The song I chose was 1000 Miles by Vanessa Carton. I chose this song for the following reasons: first of all, it was in one of my favorite movies, white chicks. Second of all, it’s just a really nice song and the beat. It’s very upbringing, and I know it pretty well. And finally, this was a song I saw myself doing repeatedly listening to repeatedly. Also, for an off-to-record reason, I thought this song could be used to showcase my journey of getting Bruno Mars tickets or if I got them. The songs really reminded me of a journey to a certain goal. However, it reminds me of the innocence of the era when I was a small child. I wasn’t born when the song was released; however, it was something I heard often. So call me petty  but that is the reason I'm working alone based of what happened last project for class.
