production blog: Final countdown

Image
Today is another boring production blog. I don't have much to say because I am still just doing credit animations. This is the least interesting part of the project for me. It is really just drawing credits with Flipaclip. Flipaclip is a good app that helps make it easy. But I don't enjoy this task very much. I would rather be doing more video production. However, I have a problem that is delaying my progress. My delivery won't be here until March 4th to March 9th. It contains some equipment and materials that I need for my video. This is very frustrating because this project is due on the 15th. I don't have much time left to finish it.The only good thing is that I have finished all my credits and I know what scenes I want to do. I have planned them out in advance. Now I just need to do the scenes and put them together. But I can't do that until I get my delivery. So, for my next production blog, I will focus on finding free music. I need non-copyright music for my v

Production blog: more animation

my primary focus was on the credits, as I had mentioned earlier. Specifically, I tackled the challenging task of creating the director's credit, especially considering my emphasis on animation. Much like my approach to the title slide.I opted for a dark red color scheme with blood splatter effects. It was a meticulous process. taking approximately half an hour, resulting in a total of eight slides. I realized that this quantity was sufficient, providing a pace of two slides per second. Moving forward, I also dedicated attention to crafting credits for the producer. However, I encountered a minor hurdle in needing to locate the name of my producing company. This will be a priority for the next session. Despite this, today's work was notably productive.though not quite as much as yesterday's achievements. Nevertheless, I am successfully getting the more crucial and significant components of the project solidified. Today, I worked on the credits for my animated project. I spen

production blog: the amazing art of animation

Image
Hello, everyone! In this post, I want to share with you my journey of making  an animated for a film scene for this final task. It was a lot of work, but  also a lot of fun. I have always been fascinated by animation, but I never had the chance to try it myself. I wanted to make a  horror film, called , "The Thing". I wanted to animate the title scene, where the name of the film appears with blood dripping from it. However, finding a good app for animating was not easy. I searched and tried many apps, such as Animation Desk, but none of them met my  expectations. They were either too difficult to use, too costly, or too  lacking in features. I was losing hope, until I found FlipaClip. FlipaClip is  a free app that allows you to create animations with ease. You can draw,  edit, and play your animations with simple gestures. You can also add layers, brushes, backgrounds, audio, and more. You can even export  your animations as videos or GIFs, and share them with

So I finally decided to suck it up and make some purchases. What I call them impulsive, yes. Impulsive choices lead to good decisions I think so. Finally after watching what I’ve shots I realize they are terrible because I have no props. So I went to a cheap website called Temu and I bought what was needed. I bought a detective hat. I bought a fake knife. I bought mustaches and a camera holder since I’m recording myself. This was honestly the best decision I’ve made. Only problem is that it’s coming in like two weeks. So I decided that instead of doing shooting what I’m going to focus on, is the aspect of making my clips. My credits for the beginning like director, producer editor I’m gonna make that now so that once I record everything I could just combined. Because once I got my props from online, I’ll have one and a half weeks before the project is due. So I need to immediately start shooting and then editing. So now I know after making these purchases from now on, I must focus on ma

production blog: Never ending story

Image
Hello again, and here I am on my third production day, grappling with scenes that seem never-ending and are taking a significant toll on my energy. Its basically a never ending story. As I reflect on this, I can't help but question why I left everything for the last minute. The mental exhaustion is palpable, making it challenging to find the motivation to carry on with this project. Today marked the culmination of shooting the scenes featuring the twins, and while it was a milestone, the process proved to be exceptionally draining once again. The setback of losing my wig budget added another layer of difficulty; if I can't afford realistic fake mustaches, how can I possibly manage a random orange wig? In an attempt to create the illusion that the twins are interacting, I shot video scenes where they appear to be looking at each other or being together, even though they never share the same shot. The improvisation of using a hat for one of the characters, a boy, became a practic

Today was shooting the other scenes. I finally shot scenes one. Where is the detective like who is this person? I decided today is gonna be all the detective scene and the detective isn’t about. He has a panel to himself so I decided to do all the detective scenes, and he also shows up a few times randomly. Outfits were rough. I don’t know if I’m gonna redo this with the detective however, right now I changed the detective. This is more of a rough draft because I don’t know if detective is going to be a boy due to clinical how most detective films are, or I don’t know if it’s gonna be a female to my low budget in the clothing I have at home.because I have a dress and sunglasses that would be perfect for detective. I also want to do a scene with the girls singing however, it cannot be a popular song because I don’t have rights to that so probably gonna be like la la la. And I also did the girl playing the video games so it kinda looks rough so I don’t know if I’m gonna reshoot that an

Production blog: girl in the pink dress

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog where I share my experiences as an actress in the horror movie "Nightmare on Elm Street". Today, I want to tell you about the shooting of scene one, which was quite challenging and stressful for me. Scene one is where my character, Nancy, is alone in her house at night and hears a strange noise coming from the basement. She decides to investigate and finds out that there is a monster hiding there, waiting to kill her. Sounds scary, right? Well, it was even scarier for me because I had to act in a cute pink Tommy Hilfiger dress that I bought for the occasion. I thought it would be a nice contrast to the dark and gloomy atmosphere of the scene. But little did I know that I would not get to do the monster scene that day. You see, the director wanted to save the monster scene for later, because he said it was too complicated and expensive to shoot. He wanted to focus on the suspense and the build-up of the scene first. So, I had to pretend that the

Production: the broke and cheap

The budget is looking rough. I'm broke. I have no money to my name and casting is rough. I am planning to do what Dove Cameron did in Live and Maddie and what was done in The Parent Trap. Myself will be playing the villains, detectives, and different victims. The plan is to have someone record me in different positions. Then I will splice together to make a trailer. This production will be tricky, however I believe this can turn out well with the pairing of music alongside this. However, I have another major problem: money. I am broke. Since the casting of the production is me, myself, and I, I need things to differentiate my characters. The plan was to get a detective coat, mask, and mustache, but due to inflation this plan would not work. So now I am planning on getting a paper and marker for my mustache. A hat for the killer with a black hoodie. It may be me, it may not be me. Due to it being me, myself, and I, I plan on doing a death scene a day or two, since I want my outfits
