production blog: Never ending story

Hello again, and here I am on my third production day, grappling with scenes that seem never-ending and are taking a significant toll on my energy. Its basically a never ending story. As I reflect on this, I can't help but question why I left everything for the last minute. The mental exhaustion is palpable, making it challenging to find the motivation to carry on with this project. Today marked the culmination of shooting the scenes featuring the twins, and while it was a milestone, the process proved to be exceptionally draining once again. The setback of losing my wig budget added another layer of difficulty; if I can't afford realistic fake mustaches, how can I possibly manage a random orange wig?

In an attempt to create the illusion that the twins are interacting, I shot video scenes where they appear to be looking at each other or being together, even though they never share the same shot. The improvisation of using a hat for one of the characters, a boy, became a practical solution in the midst of challenges. As I navigate through this production, I find myself questioning my decision-making and pondering strategies to cope with the mental fatigue. It's a learning experience, albeit a challenging one, as I grapple with the consequences of procrastination. Despite the difficulties, I remain determined to see this project through, contemplating ways to recharge and find renewed inspiration for the remaining tasks. The journey continues, and with each obstacle, I uncover valuable lessons about planning, resource management, and resilience in the face of creative endeavors.
