Production blog: girl in the pink dress
Hi everyone, welcome to my blog where I share my experiences as an actress in the horror movie "Nightmare on Elm Street". Today, I want to tell you about the shooting of scene one, which was quite challenging and stressful for me.
Scene one is where my character, Nancy, is alone in her house at night and hears a strange noise coming from the basement. She decides to investigate and finds out that there is a monster hiding there, waiting to kill her. Sounds scary, right?
Well, it was even scarier for me because I had to act in a cute pink Tommy Hilfiger dress that I bought for the occasion. I thought it would be a nice contrast to the dark and gloomy atmosphere of the scene. But little did I know that I would not get to do the monster scene that day.
You see, the director wanted to save the monster scene for later, because he said it was too complicated and expensive to shoot. He wanted to focus on the suspense and the build-up of the scene first. So, I had to pretend that there was a monster in the basement, even though there was nothing there. I had to scream, run, and act terrified, all by myself.
It was not easy, let me tell you. I had to use my imagination and my skills to make it look realistic and convincing. I also had to do many takes, because the director was very picky and wanted everything to be perfect. He kept telling me to do it faster, louder, or more intense. It was exhausting and frustrating.
And the worst part is, I still have to do the monster scene later. That means I have to wear the same dress again, and face the actual monster this time. I don't know how I'm going to do it. I'm so nervous and stressed. I have so many monster scenes and more scenes to do, and I don't know if I can handle it.
But I guess that's the life of an actress, right? You have to be ready for anything and everything. You have to be brave and professional. You have to give your best, no matter what. And you have to enjoy the process, because it's all worth it in the end.
That's what I keep telling myself, anyway. I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post, and stay tuned for more updates on my movie. Thank you for your support and love. See you soon
