What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?  The dead body and the suspected killer the creepy guy in the beginning to show something bad is going to happen. And the female making a Halloween costume as Halloween is the setting and time and has an impact on the story.

The opening sequences of the movie show the title page, the cast, the introduction of the characters, the hair and make up, the costume and production design, the music, the director of photography, the executive producers, the coproducers, the producer, and the writer and director.

 

How does the fim establish a feling of the gene from the opening scene? Right off the bat, there is a scary looking person who has already caused a death/murder so it gives you that horror feeling already. and horror movies also, in the beginning tend to have a sense of innocence or not knowing what’s coming so when they switch to the part with the female, simply just doing her own thing, it showed that there is something out there and she has no idea what it is feeding into the fact that people in horror movies are clueless when it begins .
